Property Tax Information
Real Property Taxes
  • Summer taxes are billed July 1st and are due by August 31st of each year without incurring penalty or interest. On September 1st interest of 1% and penalty of 3% is charged on the unpaid property tax amount.  Additional interest of 1% will accrue monthly beginning October 1st.
  • Winter taxes are billed December 1st and are due by the last day of February. Beginning March 1st of each year all unpaid real property taxes become payable only at the Genesee County Treasurer's Office.  For more information on delinquent taxes for Genesee County Click here.
  • When the due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday payments will be accepted in the office until 4:00pm on the following business day.  Please feel free to use the drop box located on the north side of City Hall near the sliding doors. Payments in the drop box at 8:00am the day following the due date will be accepted without penalty or interest.

Personal Property Taxes

  • Winter taxes are billed December 1st and are due by the last day of February. On March 1st interest of 1% and penalty of 3% is charged on the unpaid property tax amount. Additional interest of 1% will accrue monthly beginning April 1st.
  • All payments of personal property taxes are paid to the City of Davison.

Payment Options
  • Payments should be made payable to the City of Davison.  
  • Payments may be made in person, by mail, electronically, or placed in the drop box.   
  • Mail payments to 200 E. Flint St. Suite 2, Davison MI 48423
  • The city accepts payments of cash, money orders, checks, and debit/credit cards.
  • Debit/credit cards are payable in person, online, or by telephone. See the online tab under the Treasurer's Department for more information.
